INTRODUCTION
AGRIMBA
AGRIMBA is an open international network of academics and professionals from universities and related institutions dealing with education and research in agribusiness. At the moment the Network is especially active in Central and East Europe. The main objective of the Network is to set standards for the programs overseen by the network based on the best practices and accredit them on the basis of these standards. AGRIMBA works as a highly needed medium of communication in the field of agribusiness between theory and practice. It is thus an effective tool in lifelong learning.
International
The International MBA Network was established in 1995 and since it has been growing year by year, with the likes of Humboldt University Berlin, University of Debrecen, University of Arkansas, University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Timiryazev Academy Moscow, University of Belgrade, University of Zagreb, the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Belgorod State Agricultural University in Russia, Kazan University (Russia) and Mongolian University of Life Sciences (School of Economics and Business) have recently joined the Network.
Mongolia
AGRIMBA became a standing committee of ICA at the ICA General Assembly 2003 in Beauvais (The Interuniversity Consortium for Life Sciences, www.ica-europe.info). The School of Economics and Business of Mongolian University of Life Science is the first university in Asia that has been accepted and accredited to the AGRIMBA network.
